People ask me, how to become more authoritative or how to become more influential as a team leader.
Here’s some of the answer: In all dealings, shift your mindset. Come out from under the circumstances and drive the circumstances as best you can.
To do that takes influence. It also takes a personal decision.
That personal decision However is NOT an event, it’s an everyday experience.
And when you accumulate the experience, it becomes who you are and how you operate.
To DO this you will need to draw on Patience & Persistence WILL Break Down Resistance.
When we have a persistent negative blockage? Something we ALWAYS bump up against?
Dig in UNDER the root system.
Pull that sucker out.
To do this? Takes much Will & work. Self work. Reflection. Forgiveness. Turning away from repeating the pattern. Repair. Restoration.
And then? New beginnings.
A hole can be repaired, filled with life giving ‘stuff’ once you intercept the thing that keeps you stuck.
We are ALWAYS self generating no matter how old we are.
It’s a life long quest. Personally & Professionally, it’s in a way a Leadership Lifestyle.
